While in northern Thailand we visited one of the last elephant camps. It was an amazing experiance!
An elephant painting!?!

The end result...selling for 2500 baht each.

An elephant message...a little more intense then Tugrul and Cam Krause's messages...but maybe not as percise.

They even through darts...better then I could might I add!

The End.

Thanks for the hat Jumbo.

Showing the interspecial love.

Myself and Jenny on an elephant.

Dustin and Kathryn on an elephant.

Dustin and I's bedroom at the Nomad Inn, northern Thailand, right on the
Mekong river, across from Laos.

Dustin and I's bathroom at the Nomads Inn.

This was me on the deck where we were staying in Northern Thailand...playing with my camera.

Some Khmu village pics...

The Khmu Village Church. It had no walls, and a thatch floor...but it was a church none the less.

Some Khmu village pics...

Some kind of goat???

The largest Gecko I saw in Thailand...about 7 inches long.

Look at me...I am just loving this bug net! This was the night that we stayed in the Khmu mountian village.

This is where we stayed for most of our time in Northern Thailand, the Nomads Inn.

The view of the
Mekong river and Laos from where we ate our food.

While the others on my team went to the village church to start setting up for the evening grand opening. I took a walk around the city we were staying in. I came back along the river that split Laos and Northern Thailand.

A sweet tree I found while walking around the city.

The Mekong river.

Here are a few pics of us painting the church.

Ok, so while we were painting an animal trap near by was set off, and one of the villigers caught a rodent. He hit it on the head a few times, killing it, and then he cooked it over the fire and we all ate some. It wasn't that bad...though I could have used more BBQ Sauce.

We ate this!!!
