Thailand 06

This was our tenative schedule for our time in Thailand.

Those two bags and a potato sack was all that I packed for Thailand.

Some trip progress action.

Our team awaiting our flight to Bangkok in Hong Kong.

Rob and R.S. chillin out at the D&D Inn.
The following are some pics of Bangkok...

This pic as well as the other was taken at the Grand Palace in Bangkok.

Soldiers at the palace.

On our way from old to new Bangkok we took a boat ride from one side of the city to the other.

This boat was run by an old car motor.

This train made the sky train in Vancouver look like it was donated to us.

The most insane
mall I have ever been to.

This mall had so many floors!
Bling bling on Ebay. This show room was located on the 4th floor of one of the malls we visited in Bangkok.
The Royal Dragon...the world's largest restaraunt.

This place was massive!

A Thai cultural show playing in the background.

The first bugs that we had to eat.

I was not about to waste any time.

Our final few minutes in Khao San.
The market setting up in front of TLC.
A slum that we visited to encourage people to come and bring their kids to our VBS.

Some stinky dorian fruit and cockroaches.
Gross.
Ah yes, the back of the van...I spent alot of time there. It really added to the whole experience.

This is a home where half of our team had a Bible study with a local church.

A hectic poisonous spider chillin out right behind myself and Kim during the Bible study.

The front of the house that we had our Bible study in.

Your Bible study group photo.

Karen and the team as we head to teach ESL at a local school.
An outdoor assembly at the school that we taught ESL at. It was located on the same property as a buddhist wat.

Kathryn and Alexa bust out the ESL sesh, with Karen S' help.

There are a ridiculous number of stray dogs everywher in Thailand.

These young guys are not camera shy!

Myself and my posse :P
