Well...it took me almost 2 months to throw the last of the pics I took in Thailand, but here they are...

This is Somchai dressed up for a Sunday sermon.
I helped Aun teach english to a group of teachers at her school in Phanat.

I added a little serenade to the lesson...

Roof Top Worship

This is some worship on the roof on TLC the last Sunday that I was in Bang Saen.
We also prayed over the city of Bang Saen.

Jason, Pi Nid, Uh-Oh, and Pi Faa playing the ever so popular Dutch Blitz.

During Song Kran there were many sand castles down at Bang Saen beach. These are a few of them that I took pictures of.

"TODAY...IS SONG KRAN DAY!"

For the past week I have been enjoying the Song Kran Festival. Basically it started as a tradition to bless the elderly by kneeling and pouring water on their hands. However, over the years it has become a week long national festival. It is a time where the country has a nation wide water fight and party. During this time, if you are outside you are fair game, and should expect to get wet. Below are some pics from the festival in Bang Saen at The LC.
We ran a hose from The LC to the street to fill up buckets and tubs. We then put ice in the water and sometimes this chalk stuff that Thai people use along with the water. Then we pretty much get anyone walking or driving by wet. But we are not safe ourselves...those driving by usually are carrying many people and much water to fight back.

A roof shot of The LC group in front of the church.

Some of the traffic jam due to the water fight.

Some S.K. action.

It's been good times so far. I did get the worst sun burn that I have ever had before...but I am almost recovered fully.
