Good "Thai"mes

Today was very well balanced. There was some work, and some play, some dreaming, and some planning. I woke up around 10am and went on a mission to clean the second floor at TLC. For those who have never been to TLC, this place is filled with glass and mirrors. So I spent a few hours in the morning cleaning glass and then sweeping and mopping the second floor.
After that was done I spent an hour or so teaching myself some of the Thai language. I really had fun learning it and I know it will be very useful in the next 50 days...so I am going to try my best to study a bit of Thai every day.
During the evening Jason and I were invited to Karen and Ricky Sanchez's for a BBQ. Ricky cooked some good ol' North American food. We talked and then watched a few skits on the Jamie Kennedy Experiment.
Jason and I found out that we will be teaching English to some Jr. High students starting next week Monday. We will teach a 1 hour class 5 days a week. We also might be taking the boys from the Abundant Life Home to the pool a few times a week to give them swimming lessons. So we have this next week to plan our lessons both for English and swimming. I am a bit anxious about starting these things, however I am also very excited.

Ladies and Gentlemen...Ricky Sanchez.

Every Sunday and Monday night at TLC there is a break dancing ministry.

Some of these guys are amazing break dancers!

Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday there is a night market that sets up right in front of TLC.

The night market is quite the sight.
