This was quite the eventful Sunday. There was this big outdoor church service/concert that we set up for in the morning/afternoon. We set up a stage outside and a bunch of chairs and tables and sound equipment. Later in the afternoon people came and we started the service. We had some special guests from BC lead worship for us.
Here is where the "rain" comes into play. We start the concert and not even 10 minutes into it, it starts raining. So we hurry and pack everything inside, and not even 15 minutes after we did that, the sun came out. Anyways, we had the service inside. It was an awesome service...worship was pretty exciting and lively, and the message (even though it was in Thai) was good. I could understand the general point that Andy was making in his sermon.
Then after the service we had a fellowship dinner, which was pretty cool. After taking everything down and after the break dancing ministry was over, Jason and myself went with Jon, Dave, and Ben (of the TREK Team) for a late night burger at a near by beach resort. It was like 1am...not the best time to eat a burger, but I am glad I went, because this burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I know how big of a statement that was, because when it comes to burgers there is no messing around. But I am serious...it was that good.
Anyways, here are some pics of the evening events...
